My Story

My name is Paulina Mazewska, but I go by Lina Madigan. It's a little easier to pretend you are a native English speaker in the writing world, which is why I use a nickname and my husband's last name professionally.  

I immigrated from Poland to the United States at a young age, where I quickly fell in love with the English language as I helped my parents navigate a new world through complicated texts and translations.

In 2014, I earned a bachelor's degree with honors in English at the University of Florida and in the autumn of 2024, I returned to education and began a master's program in Technical Communication and E-Learning at the University of Limerick.

I am writing this blog to provide reflection on my challenges and experiences of earning that master's degree.
